I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit but decided to take the guaranteed paycheck approach until my children (now 17 & 19 were grown.  I started working for a large corporation and actually loved it and fell hopelessly in love with the company.  With that being said, the type of work I did continued to nurture my entrepreneurial side by allowing me to negotiate contracts for a multitude of things from canned tuna to floor care services to unloading services.  These negotiations, hundreds of them, ranged in spend from $3000.00 to $20,000,000.00 so you can see where I would have loved that challenge, and being able to save "my" company substantial money through my negotiating skills was self fulfilling to me.

Again, let me reiterate, I never planned on retiring from that large corporation, but I did plan on staying until I was ready to venture out on my own AFTER the children were out of the house and no longer dependent on me.  Well, the company had other plans as after FOURTEEN YEARS of loyalty the company decided to "eliminate" my position.

However, in all honesty, over the years I had seen that exact same thing happen to people that had fallen in love with the corporation and had been given their walking papers after YEARS of service.  Now did I think that would happen to me?  No...I was still in love.

I started researching home based businesses and after thorough research found the one (http://www.eliz4biz.scent-team.com/) that is a perfect fit for me. I love the product, the vision, and the compensation plan!
