The Art of Engagement

For the past 20 years, Root Learning has worked with organizations all over the world.  Although the companies have been different, we’ve found one thing to be common:  Leaders spend a great deal of effort crafting the “perfect” strategy, but then find that executing that strategy is even more difficult.  In fact, it can be nearly impossible. This blog will discuss the concept of “engagement” in business and its importance in successful strategy execution.  Many of the thoughts and themes will be drawn from my new book, The Art of Engagement (McGraw Hill, August 2008), and supplemented by "stories from the road" and topical industry issues.
