Mix one part Entrepreneur with one
part "Digerati", sprinkle a good dose of Marketeer and bundled it all
with an Optimist wrapper and you’ve got Hans Eisenman.

When he’s not doing business and technology coaching for his clients, he’s conjuring
up improved uses for the Internet and computers in general.

Or, he’s finding ways to network and connect people he’s just met with others he already knows.

Holl turned a conventional project into Linked Hybrid, a mini-city of towers with sky bridges and a “floating” cinema. The 2.4-million-square-foot space has the design world agape.

Holl’s redesigned interior of an 1890 building at New York University plays with light and what he calls “porosity.”

For the University of Iowa, Hold chose to cantilever part of the School of Art and Art History over a pond.

When connecting your computer to the Internet, anti-virus software is an absolute must. Viruses, trojans, worms and other harmful attachments can destroy your computer, and even your life. Threat levels range from spam and pop-up windows to identity theft, where the culprit copies and sends your personal documents to other computers -- with the bug attached. The easiest way to prevent this from happening: simply download anti-virus or anti-spyware software.

slideshowEight Tips for Doing Business in Dubai

Hot or not (the weather, not you) in Dubai, a suit and tie is de rigeur for anyone associated with a resort. Since the whole emirate is more or less a resort, that dress code applies to everyone else as well. Women in Dubai on business should dress modestly. While Dubai is very cosmopolitan, always be cognizant of its roots in Islamic culture.

When a man puts on a dishdasha--the flowing robes that function as business suits, weekend wear and everything in between--you never know who's the assistant and who's the CEO. Maybe that's the point.
