Information Security in a Web 2.x World

Social networking sites, facebook, bebo, myspace, etc, pose significant risk to businesses and organizations of all sizes. I have had in depth experience helping organizations from start ups to Fortune 50 companies protect against these risks. However, with the increased use of Web 2.0 applications - blogs, wikis, social networking sites - allowing for use of user-created applications the threats to organizations has increased drastically. Although, most are not intentialy, even a purely accidently post can damage a successful business. In today's Web 2.0 world, this is proof that security has to be looked at in all phases of your business planning and strategy.
