Steve Jobs announced the new model of the iPod Nano today. The updated design is the thinnest model ever, and they've brought in some new metallic colors not seen since the iPod Mini a few years ago, including hot pink and neon green (http://gizmodo.com/5047390/ipod-nano-hands+on-impressions). However, I don't think this makes it more appealing to women over men. Maybe pink. But I know plenty of girls who hate pink. If this question is based solely off color, there's a rainbow spectrum, so everyone should be covered. And EVERYONE likes better technology. Plus, don't lots of guys like smaller gadgets too? All of James Bond's gadgets get smaller by the movie...
After hearing a male friend refer to the new Nano as "yummy," I would say that the new Nanos are for anyone that has a sense of style or an intense love of gadgetry.
I don't think so. I'm a man, I travel a lot, and I prefer the smaller iPod because it is easier to handle when you are getting in and out of planes, trains, and automobiles.
No, it is for all people who blindly choose a product because of it's bygone fame. Notably, it doesn't sound exceeptional nor does it have an fm radio.
You can listen to it while you drink your cocoa colas...
I don't see why the new Nano is so remarkable. iPhone is remarkable. New Nano = return to shape of the 1st gen Nano, which is a good move, with an added accelerometer (that the iphone has). Genius will be pervasive across all apple devices. And it comes in lots of colors, like the ipod mini (remember that?)
@Tyler Adams I'm feeling the same thing. I might get a few of them and match things up, lol.
Seriously though, it's clearly not just for ladies but I wouldn't be surprised to see more women buy this than guys and guys buy the iPod Classic more than ladies.
