How about 3G internet? The browser is impressive, but it needs speed to back it up.

The fact that Apple has not figured out how to put iChat on the iPhone bothers me.

email server connection, even though we don't have the iPhone here yet I love the look of it and we need something that can really compete against RIM

They should have worked with some key starting providers in each country around the world... and THEN released the iPhone as a world-wide iPhone.

I have it and use it BUT there is NO 'cut & paste' functionality - MAJOR handicap

The ability to choose a wireless provider--don't want AT&T. What's the deal with locking phones/pdas with a single provider?

Integration with the to-do iCal to-do list. How can you have a PDA without a task management function?

There are LOTS of things missing on the iPhone!!! 1. Being able to find a name in the address book by company name! 2. Being able to change a battery! 3. Email that works! (Why not license BlackBerry email capabilities???)

You don't have a true computing device unless you have some sort of copy/paste and some sort of saving of files. The iPhone is really handy and fun to play with. The browsing experience *far* outshines the BlackBerry and other mobile devices, but it will never be truly useful without those two things. There are probably more than that, but those two are crucial. Oh, and 3G, but that's coming, I hear.
