When: Wednesday, July 23rd, 5:30-7:00 pm
Where: 15 West 26th Street, 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10010
Who: Learning Worlds, an innovation and communication group, and Accept, makers of innovation software solutions, are bringing together a small group of innovation specialists.
Why: To talk about how to accelerate the pace of innovation in a tight economic climate. We're hoping to have a lively discussion and free exchange of ideas in a friendly atmosphere.
The goal is to brainstorm solutions, identify hidden assumptions and barriers to implementation of those solutions, and come up with ways to break through barriers into the next phase of growth and profitability. The result will be a structured list of potential action items to help you, your partners, or your clients, formulate a winning strategy.
The overarching discussion question is, in uncertain times, how do you maintain momentum, and keep your company innovating?
• Do you sell the story (up, down and across the organization) that innovation is just as important in a downturn as in a boom economy?
• Do you adapt your approach, your tools and methodologies, to adjust to a changing set of priorities?
• Do you focus on cost-effective innovation processes, or innovation in operations leading to radical cost savings?
• Do you leapfrog the competition while they backpedal during the downturn, or quietly differentiate into a non-competitive market?
If you’re interested in participating, we’d love to hear from you.
