I think its really difficult to truly point a finger at one type of business or movement. Everyone is affected by changes in our environment, some more than others, some more directly than others, but regardless we need to get everyone on board. This whole "green" movement is a label for Americans to latch onto. I was on a plane flying from the east to west coast last week and sat and talked with an Auzzie for the first 2 hours of our trip about countless ways to stir the pot and get ideas to become reality. He was trying to convince me to convert my Toyota SUV to electric. Something that right now I feel is not practical both financially and practically. The last place I want to be is stuck in the desert somewhere in need of a plug. To answer your question, big business needs to continue to listen to the people they are serving. Anticipation is key. And I would love to see more connections between big businesses. Rather than lots of people trying to make it on their own, since we're all in the same boat, lets work together.
