We are clearly in a recession. is the best strategy for a business to continue to build and grow, or should business hold tight until we begin to recover?
I would answer that with a question. What is the company goal? I think of this economic time as an opportunity to be a leader in your particular industry. Think of it this way, when is the best time to invest in a particular mutual fund? The answer is when it is low or down. Think of the economy that way. If everyone is cutting back, then it may become less expensive to grow. If you are willing and truly committed to invest in people and processes then the best time to do so is when no one else is.
